Our Clients’ Voices

Skating independently after five 1.5 hour sessions
Skating independently after five 1.5 hour sessions

I am Malcolm's mum and this week has been an amazing week for a mother to witness the transformation of her son. Malcolm does not like to wear things on his body (even watches are not tolerated). He does not like new experiences that are non-routine.

I signed him up for skate camp hoping he could learn a new skill and be exposed to a different experience. He cried very badly in the beginning when learning and trembled often, refusing to let go of my arms (or Mr Dennis' arm) to try to skate by himself. However through the week, he found his confidence and began to skate independently, often with a big grin plastered on his face. I could sense the joy he felt when he skated around the school.

I attach the before and after videos of Malcolm learning to skate. Hope you can also feel as touched as I did seeing how Malcolm changed during this past week.

Big thanks for everyone involved in the skate camp. We have bought skates for him and his sister Megan and will be bringing them often to skate.
